There comes a time in everyone's life when you've got to look back at your life, and try and remember everything you did that made that period of time worthwhile for you. It could be anything; maybe you did really well in school, or on a sports team, or maybe you just thought you were super popular. For me though, it's a bit different.
One year ago, on this day, I started to date a girl whom I like very much. She had everything that I liked in a girl; she was funny, silly, super nice, and very good looking; not only all that, but I had also considered her as one of my very best friends; it was just so easy to tell her everything that happened in my life; I trusted her with all of this information. Eventually, "like" turned into "love", and the feelings that I had for her became stronger and stronger with each passing second that we had together.
From then on, things have been great. I haven't been able to see you her too often, because I don't really have a car, and my parents aren't always so happy to let me out of the house whenever I'd like to go somewhere; that, along with the fact that they don't know she exists (Indian parents don't like interracial relationships D: ). Regardless of these facts, I'm still able to see her every once in a while, and I treasure all the times that I am able to see her.
12 months with a person really is quite a bit of time to be in a relationship with somebody; but when you really think about it, it goes by really quickly, just like school or anything else; you remember it starting as if it were yesterday. I wish time would slow down, so I could enjoy the time I spend with her even more.
I've gone through so much with you Alice. I've been happy all this time, and I can say it's thanks to you. I love you more than anything else; you mean more to me than anything.
Happy One year, buddy. Let's look forward to next year :)
