So Now That I'm Here...

I might as well tell everyone a bit about myself.

My name is Simran Singh, and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I'm Indian (as shown from my name), but I've been living in the U.S. my entire life.

I'm a big fan of music; not just one specific genre; every type of sound that can be made appeals to me (well, maybe not every single audible noise in the world, but I like most of them). I play the electric guitar, electric bass, violin, sitar, and classical guitar as well. I'm also really interested in synthesizers, but the only ones I've been able to play around with on a regular basis would be software synths; hopefully in the future I'll be able to buy one.

I'm trying to get into DJing. It's something I've considered doing for a really long time, but I've never had the money to go out and buy some turntables or anything. Hopefully I'll be able to start that soon.

I'm a big fan of computers; I actually originally wanted to major in computer science when I got up to college, but now I don't know what I want to do. I'm really interested in all of the latest tech industry news, whether it is about software or hardware.

So why am I starting a blog? Fame? Fortune?

Of course not.

I just figured that people may or may not be interested in the things that I'm into. If they are, then that's great; if they don't really like what I'm into and what I decide to say, that's perfectly fine too; this blog isn't for those people. This is a place where one can learn about the things that I care about in my life. It may be a bit bland, but I can assure you that it'll eventually grow and prosper.

I hope if you're reading this right now, that you'll come back and visit every once in a while; I'd like to think that there are people that actually read this :D
